We all mourning the loss of Mostafa Golam Quddus, a distinguished industrialist, visionary leader, and former president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). He was also the chairman of Dragon Group, Rupali Insurance Company Limited and the founder of Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited.

Born on March 4, 1949, in Mia Bazar, Cumilla, Mr. Quddus was widely recognized as the Father of Bangladesh’s Sweater Industry. He was also a freedom fighter, contributing to the country’s liberation struggle.

Mostafa Golam Quddus was a highly respected figure in at Meah Bazar, Chouddagram, known for his visionary leadership and significant contributions to the growth and development of the area.

Former BGMEA president Mostafa Golam Quddus breathed his last at Evercare Hospital, Dhaka, at 6:40 am on Saturday (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).
